A server holds up to 16 players. A crew is listed as 1 to 4, so you can run a job alone or with friends inside a larger server. Private VIP servers are not enabled on the experience.
What a clean first session looks like

Do not buy the full pass list to "start correctly." The game is free. The passes that change money in plain text are VIP and Side Hustle MAX, and both are optional. Learn the sell deadline first. The pass page explains what each store description actually promises.
Some videos and writeups describe a lockpick, a glass cutter, a 9:00 p.m. clock, and a 15-second police response. Those details are not in the official description, the badge text, or the pass text.
